Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit
I've decided to go with a theme for this week in Anastasia Beverly Hills products since I have a couple I've recently gotten but not reviewed.
This is my very 1st legit Contour kit. I got it on sale during one of Sephora's Weekly Wows. It was actually the 2nd time it had been featured in it. I missed out the 1st time when they sold out of my shade. So I pounced on this when I saw it.
I still like the boxes. No clue why. I guess it's cause it does affect the purchase. This one is a simple black which works perfectly. Also, it's for the shades on the side which I really liked cause in the most store they put them in a way so you can look at what they have and find your shade. Smart thinking on the brands part.
I also like it when they include a description and the shades on the back. Another thing that helps when purchasing. Store get made when you try and open them to see what's up.
The actual palette is a hard plastic with a clear lid so you can see what's there. Plus it makes for shitty pictures. The back of it is basically a mini sticker on the back of the box.
I don't know what it is about opening a new palette. It's all smooth, untouched, and full of possibilities. It's probably one of the most satisfying things.
I, of course, got the fair palette since I'm super pale. I'm gonna break down the contour colors that are in this one.
Soft Light- a medium Ivory
Lustre- Shimmery White
Fair- Light Ivory leaning towards porcelain.
Fawn- medium brown
Shadow- light brown
Mink- deep brown
This is contour process I am currently doing. This was a quick one I did the other day. I'm still working on perfecting it. It's changed a lot of the past year with the different products I've tried.
The one thing I do really like about this palette is that you can buy replacements for them. Which is a dream, Cause with every palette there is one you use more than the other, so instead of buying a whole new palette, you can just pay the $14 to replace the one you used.
I'm really pleased with this contour palette, especially since it's my 1st one. It's a smooth creme that I've not had any issue with drying out on me. I have tried it with both oils and without. It works perfectly both ways. I'm excited to use this one to perfect my contouring game.
You can get this one from Sephora or Ulta. I have included the links to both below.
