Revolution Luxury Banana Powder

I'm new to this whole baking my face thing. I'm still trying to figure out what works best and even if I like it.  This one may be the 5th one that I have tired at this point.

This is Revolution's Luxury Baking Powder in Banana.  Honestly, the only reason I got this was because of the color correcting palette I use if by this brand. Also, I got a banana setting powder in an Ipsy bag last year and I really dug it.

It's a pretty decent size jar of powder. A few I've gotten are tiny so I was really impressed by its size.

It's a light powder that is really easy to work with.

This is my makeup from today and you may not be able to really even tell. I used the powder with a beauty blender and dapped it under my eyes, on my forehead, and chin to let it set. If you look you can see the yellow tones around my face, well that's the powder.

On the left is after I took my powder brush and dusted off the extra. The right it's still there. It's pretty good stuff. I don't know if I'm using too much or not doing it right but It leaves me with yellow darken tones.

This was my final look. It did add some to the powder to lighting it up some. It does make for a  good base but not to just wearing by itself. This stuff is easy to work with some you can mix it with other products to work more effectively for you.

I have been making a  mixture of  3 different setting powders to get one that works well for me. Trust Me, I know that sounds crazy but my skin tone is weird. If I buy a white one it's way to light.  If I buy one that is kind of a medium light then it's too dark. Even if I get a translucent one it's just not very effective. So I have a mixture of these powder and white one and a translucent one and it makes for an effective baking powder.

If you are looking for a  good base powder or one you can mix. Hell if you are looking for something with yellow undertones then this is the way to go.

What setting powder do you like? Let me know!

I got this one from Ulta it's only $8 so it's not a total loss if it doesn't work for you.  I've provided the link below
