African Black Soap
The past couple of weeks I've heard a lot of talk about African Black Soap and how amazing it is. So I came across this at Walmart and decided to give it a try. This one is the Equate brand so it's cheaper than most. I think I only paid like $3 for this one.
I chose this one not only for the price but this description on the packaging. It seems to have the right things needed to nourish your skin. I wish I had gotten a picture of the actual soap out of the package. Cause it's actually a massive block of soap and I was quite shocked by that. I honestly didn't think it would be for some reason.
I have been using this soap on and off for the past 2 weeks. I have been rotating it with my usually Soft Dial Soap body wash. I have been doing this so I can compare it to something else. It is a smooth formula that you can lather up easily. It's not a heavy formula that weights down your skin. It did kind of make my skin feel a little strange, not in a bad way just not one I'm familiar with. If that makes any sense.
This is a nice product to have if you need a quick and easy cleanser from time to time. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use for your whole body or anything. I tried to get the full experience out of this and that's what I found. It works better on parts but not the whole package. Which is ok some products work like that. Now if you are using it for just your face then that's fine. The results may vary depending on the person since everyone's different.
I found this one in the face wash aisle of Walmart for $3. So if you are looking to try this like I was then it's a good one to grab and see if you like without wasting the money.
