OgX Frosted Sugar Cookie
Since I'm always on a contact quest to find products for my super long hair I decided to pick this one for my product of the week. Also, I'm pretty obsessed with it.
Over the past few months, I've been trying to find an alternative shampoo to replace my usual one since it's becoming harder to find and has literally doubled in price. I got these during a holiday sale that Ulta was having. I actually ended up ordering 2 sets, with the move and everything these I forgot I hadn't reviewed these. I have already been through one set so I have properly gotten to test these.
This shampoo lathers up to perfection and makes it easy to get completely all over my hair. My hair is so long that some product I feel like don't work so well, but this stuff is amazing It's a gel shampoo which works better if kept at room temperature. Our bathroom at our last house was so cold that it made this stuff turn into something jello like. The conditioner didn't really do that.
This conditioner is a thick formula that goes on perfectly. When I use it I left it on my hair for a few minutes before washing it out so I can get the full effect. Plus that's what the bottle says to do. After I wash it out my hair feels lights and smooth. It really helps keep the tangles out of it which is a big plus for me.
These were part of the limited edition ones that OgX came out within collaboration with Kandee Johnson. Which I follow her on Instagram and they looked like a good time so when I saw them I decide to give them a try. These are Sugar Cookie scented which legit smells like heaven. My hair will smell like it for days which is good since I will wash my hair about every 3 or 4 days.
I really dig everything about these and plan on buying more if they decide to bring this scent back. Actually, I'm going to start looking into the brand and see what I can find with it.
