May Ipsy Glam Bag Plus
Hiya!
So I did a thing this month. I got an email last month asking me if I wanted to upgrade to a Glam Bag Plus, which I had seen several people get one and love it. So I thought let's give it a try if only for the blog.
So here is my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus which is 5 full-size items. Let's see if it worth it.
First off it's not a bag it's a big pink box.
You open it up to get this cute message on the inside of the box.
There is this tiny blue egg crate padding they added in there to extra protect everything in the box. It caught me off guard at 1st cause I wasn't expecting it.
They included a little fold out of everything in the box so I'm going to include the photos of it after the review since they are on single pages. They include prices with them as well so I'm going to compare those. Also, there is no bag with this one I'm guessing since it's full products and those don't usually fit in sample bags.
Glamglow Bubblesheet masks. I'm a big fan of Glam Glow but it's a little out of my price range sometimes. These have been on my to try list but I had yet to purchase them. These are their bubble sheet mask which the name alone is legit to what it does. When you open the package there is a black sheet mask in there that you have to unfold and put on. Instantly it starts bubbling up. It's like the moment the air reaches it activates. Within minutes the entire mask and your face are covered in black foam bubbles. You are only supposed to leave this mask on for 5 mins I left it in for 10 and it was intense bubbles. I took it off, washed off my face, and it was squeaky clean with a little glow. I dig these and will have to invest in more of them.
These are listed at $27 which is legit since they are listed as 1 for $9.
IL Makiage Icon High Volume & Intense Curl Mascara. I have actually been hearing about how great this brand foundation is recently so I was excited to try this plus I love mascara. It comes in this silver box with looks gold due to the reflections of the room.
The mascara tube is also a shiny silver. The spoolie is tiny which makes it easy to use and get all the lashes without getting the product everywhere. It goes on with ease and coats my lashes evenly. I can add a couple layers with out it clumping. The only issue I had with it was that it didn't make my lashes longer. Other than that I dig it and will try more from the brand.
This one goes for $25 for full size.
Nudestix Nudies Tinted Blur in Light 1. I really dig this brand. I have gotten random products from them over the years. This is a tinted blur stick which instantly intrigued me. It goes on smooth and instantly takes the redness out of my skin. The tint of this is seriously my shade and I love it. If I wanna do a simple look or just even out my skin tone this is perfect. It also makes for an amazing primer and I will definitively be buying another one of these when I use this one.
This comes in 10 shades and goes for $30 which isn't that bad since it's a pretty big stick.
Yensa Tone Up Primer Essential Glow. This is a brand I haven't heard of before but I really dig the packaging as a whole. The more I opened it the more I liked it just with all the info it has and the layout. The formula is creamy and you don't need a lot of it to cover your face. After applying my face is super soft and primed. I have applied maybe after 5 minutes and after 30 and it has the same effect. It doesn't cake up my makeup and doesn't weigh down my face. I really like it and will be looking into more for this brand.
This one is $35.
Wander Beauty Wanderess Seascape Eyeshadow Palette. I have tried a couple thing from Wander with no issues so I was happy when I saw this in the box. I knew I wouldn't have any real issues out of it since it was a brand I knew. They put the full sea theme on the box with the shades on the back.
The Sea theme carried over to the actual palette. When you open it up you see it has a mirror the same size which you know I always appreciate.
Here is a up close of the 6 shades you get. Right off the back, I was impressed by the pigment and the glitter shine factor of them. That was just in the palette.
Let's break down the shades now.
Champagne Harbor- cream shimmer with gold glitter
Sea Salt- rose gold shimmer with pink and gold glitter
Golden Reef- cooper bronze shimmer with gold glitter
Sand Dollar- orange tan matte
Sea Foam- gold shimmer packed with glitter
Coastal- deep royal blue matte with a slight shimmer to it
This palette is amazing. The colors are creamy and go on with perfect. They are easy to blend and mix. You can actually get a couple looks out of this. I really dig this palette and the brand.
This palette goes for $25 which isn't bad for a good quality palette.
Here is a look I did use the palette, the mascara, and the nudestix blur stick.
I was actually pretty impressed with this plus box. You get full-size items for $25 which is a steal since most of these products are that price alone. I liked all the items I got and may have to try this again next month.
This is by almost like an invite-only right now but you can definitely check it out if you qualify for it. If you want to sign up for Ipsy link below.
