Ipsy October 2020
Hello!
Here is this month's Ipsy Glam Bag.
This month's theme is You're Magic, which is perfect since it's Halloween and the magic is high
They are still back with the list of the items in each bag. Hopefully, they keep it, cause I dig them.
I love this bag so much. The whole look of it is just perfect. I love the design and the back. just says You're Magic. It fits the theme perfectly.
Tarte Maracuja Tinted Hydrator in Fair Neutral. I’m a big fan of this brand as I feel like I state every time I get one of the products. I thought this one was a concealer or foundation and it’s actually just a moisturizer. I am really intrigued by it. This is a light of formula that goes on almost like a primer and it does take some of the redness out of my face. I have used this before doing my foundation and mixed it with my foundation. Also just as a moisturizer for the day. I really like this one and would buy it again.
A tube of this is $29 and comes in 20 different shades.
Oryza Beauty Astral Amethyst Shimmer Eyeshadow. I have gotten a couple of things from this brand but I don’t think I’ve ever tried a shadow. I actually picked this product because of that. This is a quad pallet so it’s got four shades 2 light and 2 dark. They aren’t named so I’m just gonna go down the list and describe them.
Light Pink shimmer with silver tones
Chocolate brown matte
Deep Purple Shimmer with pink tones
Greyish Gold Shimmer with pink tones
The formula is creamy and they were easy to blend. So I didn’t really have too many issues with them. I really like it. The palette is simple and you can create a couple of simple looks with it. I will have to check out what else they have.
This one is $19.95
Buy The Oryza Beauty Astral Amethyst Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette.
Essence Cosmetics Pure Nude Highlighter 010 in Popping Champagne. I honestly don’t know if I've tried anything from this brand. This is a highlighter in the shade Poppin Champagne which is brilliant gold. It’s super creamy goes on with ease and it's buildable if you really want to glow. I’ve used this on my normal highlighting places including my brow bone and I really dig it. I am going to have to check out more of this brand.
This one is $4.99 and comes in 4 shades.
Slimissglam P40 Round Blusher Brush. I have never tried this brand of brushes before but I dig the overall design of it. The handle is gorgeous with the glitter inside of it and then the two little rhinestones at the top near the bristles. The bristles are super soft and I’ve used this one for powder, highlighter, and blush and it works pretty well on. I will have to check out some more of the brushes because I really like this one.
They don't sell these brushes separately but they do in sets that range from $35 to $58.
Puriface Dermal Purifying Sheet Mask & Collagen Max Sheet Mask Set. The Collagen Max mask has a nice chill when wearing it. I wore it for 15 mins and didn’t have any issues with it falling off my face. Once I took it off I let it soak in for a bit and it left my skin with a slight glow and not sticky feeling. The Dermal mask didn't want to stick to my face so I have to adjust it a lot. There wasn't any chill factor to it. My face did have a slight glow but it leaves it sticky. I liked the Collagen one way more than the Dermal one. I don't know if I would buy these again.
These masks come in a set of 5 for $14.99
I really enjoyed this bad since I got a little bit of everything and I wasn’t disappointed with anything. And these products are actually really great and I’m excited to explore the Brands some more.
If you don't get Ipsy and want to the bags are $12 monthly. I have included a link below.
