Ipsy Dec 2020
Hello!
Here we are at the end of the year. The Last Ipsy review of the year. Actually, this is the last post of the year.
Let’s jump right into it.
This Month’s theme is Home for the Holiday, which is perfect. Especially for this year when we all really just needed to stay home.
We still have the list of items. Hopefully they don’t change this for the new year.
This is the ugliest fucking bag. It looks and feels like the cut up a teddy bear or bad 80s carpet to make them. I don’t like it and I’m going to give it away.
Color Club Nail Polish in Regatta Red. I have tried this brand before and it’s always been a light pastel color. I was excited to get something a little different. This one is a traditional bright Red which is always good to have around. I can get complete coverage with 2 coats of this. There is some chipping but I use my hands a lot so that’s expected. These aren’t bad polishes for the price but it does depend on the shade.
These are $8.50 and there are an obscene amount of shades.
Feel Beauty Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser. I think I have gotten something from this brand in one of these bags before. I just can’t remember what it is exactly. This is light scrub that smells amazing like fruit and warm sugar. I really like this one and have been using it at night when I need to scrub the day away or in the morning when I feel gross. I would totally buy this one again.
This one is $28 for a tube.
Cela Creme Violette. I haven’t tried this brand before. This is a thick cream lotion that goes on really smooth and light. I like it when lotion doens’t make me feel like I need to wash my hands. Plus this stuff smells amazing. I would definitely buy this one again.
This one is $29 for a tube.
Beau Gâchis Ipsy Exclusive Limited Edition Flat Contour Brush. This one was the product I pick for my bag. I hadn’t heard of the brand and needed a good contour brush so it was a win. This is a super soft brush and holds the product really well. If you want a dark sharper contour this is great for it. I think it will work better with a creme than a powder. I like this one and will have to look more into this brand.
This one is $15.
IBY Beauty Lush Eyeshadow in Into the Woods. I have tried a couple of things from IBY with no issues. This is a single eyeshadow. It’s a smooth matte in a deep chocolate brown shade with silver glitter in it. This one is blendable and buildable. I have been using it to create smokey eyes. I really like this and would buy it again in a different color.
These single shadows are $5 and come in 23 shades.
I really like this bag. I didn’t get anything I hated which is always a win. I’m excited to see what Ipsy does in the new year.
What did you guys get? Anything Good? Tell me things.
