Things I watched while waiting for Verizon to Show up

Hello,

So I have had a huge issue all week. I went to work Monday only to realize my phone line was out. I work from home and if my phone is out I can't take calls which means I can't work. So I have been left to my own devices all week while calling Verizon to come out and fix it. Monday I washed the laundry and watched Veronica Mars. Tuesday I cleaned the bathrooms and watched the confession killer while I folded laundry. Yesterday I had an appointment from 8a-5pm since they were backed up and couldn't come out before that. While waiting I tried to fix the showerhead in the bathroom and broke a severely rusted pipe that proceeded to spray water everywhere. My brother in law thankfully came out to fix it after I ripped out the wall to get to the pipes that hadn't been seen since the '70s. My dad had rigged the shower for years to be functional since he didn't want to rip into said wall.  Verizon never showed up since they got caught up in another job.

So today I had another appointment from 8a-5pm. I cleaned the kitchen, meaning I did the dishes, deep cleaned the stove, organized things, scrubbed the bottom of the fridge, then swept,  mopped and washed the rugs. I also recleaned the bathrooms. So after that, I decided to sit down and not cause any more chaos or chance breaking things.

I spent the rest of the day binge-watching movies on Amazon Prime and looking out the window for Verizon truck. They didn't show up again today but after Speaking to a  lovely customer service rep who marked the ticket priority  I found out they have been just passing my ticket around and had the home phone number as my contact. That number doesn't work. I'm probably gonna get fired from my program that I helped launch cause of this bullshit. Actually probably not because I will fight them. I have been there too long and I'm too damn good at my job to go out like this.

Anyways now that I got all that out there and let me tell you about all the things I've watched to take my mind off this so I don't go crazy.

As I mention a lot of Veronica Mars which I have a whole different post about that that will be posted soon once I  make it through it all again.

I watched this purely cause I love true crime and had heard good things about it. Plus I have been putting off watching it for a while. This is a limited Docuseries about Henry Lee Lucas who confessed to like 300 murders over the years then took it all back. I mean he leads police to places to tell them about all these women he killed then decided nope I didn't kill all them. In the end, he claims to only have killed his mother. It's a little hard to get into the  1st episode but once you get past that you will be hooked into.  If you are into serial killers like I am, then go watch this.

I wanted to see this when I saw the previews for it but never came across it until today. Basically, this movie is about the funny fat friend who decides to get her life together and lose the weight. She also loses herself cause honestly if you are the funny fat friend it's kind of all you know. That happens with everyone you get into the swing of things or a  routine it's hard to change it. This movie is so good I was all over the place with her. I was sobbing at the end of the movie it was so good. I really enjoyed it go watch it.

This is another movie that I have been wanting to see. I love both Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick. This movie is a trip. You think you know what's going on but you really have no idea. I was blown away with what's going cause it's full of twists. I really loved it and will probably watch it again. I don't want to get too much into cause I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it.

My Rating: 10/10

I really like Sarah Hyland and watched her insta-stories during the filming of this. So that's the whole reason I watched it. This movie is adorable. It's about a random couple who has to go to like 20 weddings. It's a process of them dealing with the wedding and finding themselves in the process. It's really cute and I enjoyed it.

I turned this one on cause with these 2 it was a promising good time. It really was actually. The whole movie centers around a selfish businesswoman who gets hit in the head and can hear men's thoughts. She uses it to her advantage as anyone would but it becomes her downfall and she messes everything up. There are parts of it that could have been done better and came off super cheesy. All in all, it is a good movie with a  happy ending.

My Rating: 7/10

Despite basically having the whole week off I have been using it wisely and have some posts done for the upcoming weeks. I have been slacking on my blog in a big way with work and everything the past couple of months. I'm going to start setting aside a time slot during the day to focus on it. It's about time I start treating this blog as it should be like a Job. I have to if I ever want to do anything with it.

So What have you all been watching? Gimme Suggestion.
