So I have been a garbage person recently and negligent this blog to do art or just lay in bed. I have been working late so I feel like that's all I do. My head isn't in the game. I feel a little all over the place this week. I thought it was a sinus infection messing with my head until I figured out that I have Tonsillitis which I have had on and off since my early 20s. I got antibiotics like 2 days so maybe I can kick it soon.
Anyways since all I have wanted to do is lay in bed I went back to my audiobook kick. I came across this one and I really dig author. Plus the cover drew me in.
Snuff is a novel by Chuck Palahniuk that was released on May 20, 2008.
This book is a tale of the world's greatest porn star, who is trying to set the world record for sleeping with 600 guys in one picture. The book it'self is from the point of view of a couple of the men who are a part of the 600. You will hear their stories, thoughts, and conversation with each other while they wait for their turn. Also, you will hear a long list of cleverly titled pornos which I found myself cackling at. Honestly, the whole book is a plot twist. Somethings I can predict things but others caught me completely off guard. I wasn't disappointed one bit.
I started it at random because I didn't feel good but didn't want to go to sleep or open my eyes. Then I found myself not wanting to stop listening. It's about 6 hours of audio and a short read that will keep you hooked.
I really enjoyed it and I'm going to listen to some more of his stuff on Scribd. You can download the app and it's $8 a month which isn't bad compared to other than are $15. Honestly, I need to get a library card and do Libby.
