June Ipsy 2020
Hello!!!
I know this month as been a hit and miss for me. I have a post in the works explaining that. Anyways here is my Ipsy review for the month. This is currently the only beauty subscription I get since I haven't found anything else right now that I want to try.
This month's theme is Make Waves, which works for June since it's the month people are usually in the pool. Well, not this month since we should stay away from people or at least should be. Also, wear a damn mask.
This month's bag features babes in bathing suits laying on the beach. It's fitting for the theme.
Kensie Body Lotion. This is a thick lotion that smells incredible. It goes on smoothly and absorbs fairly quickly. It does leave my skin moisturizer and soft. However, after using it a couple of days I did break out in a slight rash. I don't know if it's the lotion itself or the combination of it and something else. I had to stop using it and it cleared up. That could have just been me though.
A 6.80z Tube is $18.
Color Club Nail Polish in Get Lost. I have tried this brand before. I always appreciate Nail polish, even if I keep getting these pastel shades. They are nice and all but I have to put 4 coats on to make them work. This one isn't bad. It takes longer to chip then normal polishes and it works pretty well. I may have to see if I can invest in some darker colors.
This one comes in like 50 shades and ranges from $8.50 to $12.
Sugar Cosmetics Matte as Hell Crayon Lipstick in Viola. I really like this brand and haven't had any issues with stuff I've gotten in these bags before. The shade is a reddish-brown that looks great against my pale skin. This one is perfect to contour your lips then you can fill them in. This is a creamy formula that doesn't dry out my lips and lasts for hours. I would buy this again.
This one comes in 25 shades for $20.99 apiece.
Buy Matte as Hell Crayon Lipstick.
Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes. I really dig this perfume. I have gotten it several times in bags over the years. The name is just great honestly. This is a warm vanilla scent that just makes me happy. I would buy this one again.
This one comes in 3 size, 7.5 ml for $28, 50ml for $100, and 100 ml for $150.
INMO Velveteen Dream Shadow in Kween Bee. I really like this brand and have never had issues with it. This is a creamy shadow that applies like butter. The pigment is vibrant with little fallout. The shade is a golden bronzy shimmer. I dig it and would buy it again.
These come in 20 different shades for $9 a pop.
Buy Velveteen Dream Shadow.
I really liked this page. It had some great products in it that I really loved. Anyone else gets anything good in their bag?
If you don't get Ipsy and want to it's $12 a month and as always there is a link below.
