December Ipsy Bag 2021
Hello,
Here we are at our last Ipsy Glam bag of the year and my last review of the year.
This month’s theme is Time to Shine, which I think is good for the closing out of the year. Cause a lot of us to get really burned out and really need to remember that the end of the year is a new beginning. We have to make it our Time to Shine.
Here is a list of everything that was in this month’s bag.
I really love this bag. It’s a pink rubber like vinyl with a bumpy texture that’s painted gold which makes the bag look like it’s covered in Rose Gold glitter..
Codage Paris Moisturizing Mask. I have tried this brand before in the form of another mask. I also got in one of these bags. This one feels like a lotion. which I feel is strange to apply to my face and leave on for 10 mins then wash off. It did leave my face moisturized but I wasn’t really thrilled with it. So I won’t be buying it again.
This one is $47 for a 50 ml jar.
SKYN Iceland Glacial Face Wash with White Willow Bark. I have actually used this one before and I loved it. This is a pearly cream that you only have to use a pea-size amount. It lathers up with just a little water and applies to your face with ease. This one does have a slight tingle to it and washes off easily. It always leaves my face feeling clean and doesn’t dry me out. I really like this one and would buy it again.
This one is $30 for a 5 oz tube.
HIPDOT Contour Brush. I have never actually tried anything from this brand but I have looked at a bunch of their stuff. This is literally one of the softest brushes I’ve ever used. I have been using this for my powder contour. It holds product really well whether I use a lot or just a little of it. I really like this one and would buy one of their brushes again.
This one is $14.
Complex Culture Get Set Nail Polish in Hustle. I always get random nail polish in these bags, which is fun cause I feel like all I do is paint my nails sometimes. This one I don’t believe I’ve tried. I was able to mostly get full coverage in one coat but I did 2 just to be on the safe side. This color is an orangy red which I kinda like even though I don’t care for orange shades. I didn’t have a lot of issues with this one. It did chip here and there but it lasted a couple of days. I don’t know if I would buy it again since I don’t care for the shade.
Actually the brand doesn’'t seem to make a lot of polishes. They had 2 shades, this and another one and they are both out of stock on their website. Which just seems weird to me. It’s like Ipsy bought it all.

Tarte Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara. I really love this brand and the mascaras that I have tried. This was a new one to me. It applies really easily and I can do several coats without a lot of clumping or issues. It does give me some nice volume which I like. I would buy this one again.
