May Ipsy 2021

Hello there!

My Ipsy bag was late again this month. I just got it Saturday so I had to rush and test everything. I think it’s cause I also get their Refreshment every month too so it just delays things. I will have a review on in soon.

Anyways let’s jump into this.

This month’s theme is Flower Power, which is fun for may.

This bag is super cute. I really like the outlined flowers on the baby pink bag.

CELA Creme Rose. I actually got another lotion from this brand in December. This one is a very thin creme and when I say thin I mean thin. Cause the first couple of times, I have used it it had slipped out of my hands almost like it’s liquid but it’s not. Almost like Hand Sanitizer how it can slip out of your hand if you aren’t careful. The formula isn’t bad I feel like it could be more hydrating since my skin doesn't feel dried out but just not fully moisturized. It’s a weird feeling I can’t really describe it. This stuff does smell amazing but I don’t think I would buy this again.

This one is $39 for a 4oz tube.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores. I have tried a bunch of stuff from this brand without any issues. They always have simple products that don’t cause me really any issues. This mask was the same way. This is a Charcoal mask that I applied with a brush with ease. I left it on for 20 mins and there was no burning, tingling, or anything weird. It left my skin super smooth and didn’t interact with anything else in my skincare routine. I like this one and would buy it again.

This one comes in. 2 sizes: 1 oz for $13 and 2.5 oz for $27.

Hanalei Kukui Lip Balm in Coconut Pear. This is a brand I’ve not heard of before and it’s a lip product so I was excited about it. I have been using this one since I pulled it out of the bag. It’s a simple lip balm that’s not overly oily so that it leaves your lips feeling overly greasy. It smells amazing and leaves your lips soft and moisturized.

These come in a variety pack of 5 for $6. They are on sale at this time.

Sugar Cosmetics Matte as Hell Lip Crayon in Claire Redfield. I have tried several items from this brand without issues. Actually, I have gotten mainly these lip crayons which I love and they are usually in a shade of red. This one is named after a character from Resident Evil which I love. It’s a bold classic red which is the signature color of who it was named after. I love these crayons since they go on easy and you can contour your lips without getting it everywhere. They don’t dry out my lips and the color lasts for a couple of hours. Plus this one looks good on my pale skin. I really like these and would buy them again

These are $20.99 and are part of a collection of colors named after badass female characters. Most of them are currently out of stock.

Complex Culture Letup Concealer Mini in F100. This is a brand I’ve never heard of so I was excited to try it. Plus I’m always on the lookout for a good concealer. This one was super light on me but I made it work. The formula is easy to blend and didn’t rebel with the foundation or the powder I used. I liked it, it would have been way better if it was my actual shade but it’s simple. I will have to look more into the brand.

This one is $25 and comes in 20 shades.

I really like this bag, there wasn’t anything weird that I didn’t like in it. I feel like I always say that but I really haven’t had any issues in recent months. If you do the surveys every month it really pays off to not get shit you don’t want.

If you don’t get Ipsy it’s $12 a month and I will include a link below.
