July Ipsy 2021
Hello,
I got my Ipsy bag faster this month and immediately started trying everything.
Let’s just jump into it.
This month’s theme is Stay Golden.
They went back to putting tips in the fold out instead of a list of the products.
The bag is of course gold and has Stay Golden imprinted at the top of it. Also, it’s got that cute sun charm on the zipper. It’s really cute and works for the theme.
Grace & Stella Foaming Face Wash. This was what I picked this month cause I loved this brand and wanted to try this. I really love foam cleansers I think it’s the bubbles that make me feel like it’s actually cleaning. This one says you only need 1 pump which is true. I have used this with my PMD cleansing brush and just with my hands. Every time it leaves my face feeling cleansed and doens’t make my face feel dried out. I like this one and would buy it again.
This one comes in a 5 fl oz bottle for $18.
Glamglow Instant Clearing Treatment Mask. I’m pretty sure I have tried this one before since I really like this brand. This is a light Mud mask. I applied a semi-thin layer on with a Brush and instantly it started to tingle. I left it on for 10 mins and wiped it off with a wet eco round. It did leave my face a little red after which faded after a while. I applied my toner and moisturizer without issues. I liked this one but I don’t know if I would buy it again cause I don’t really feel like it did anything.
This one comes in 4 sizes: .5oz for $25, 1oz for $39, 1.7 oz for $60, and 3.4 oz for $86.
Sugar Cosmetics Contour De Force Mini Highlighter in Royal Rose. I have tried several things from this brand without any major issues. This one is a creamy pressed powder that is easy to apply with your fingers or a brush. It melts into the skin and is buildable if you want some extra shine. Honestly, this one packs a punch of shine with one application so you don’t really need to add more unless you just want to. This shade is Royal Rose which is super light golden pink, which works really well on my pale skin. I like this one and would buy it again.
This one is $10.99 and comes in 4 shades.
Realher Dreams so Big Eyeshadow due in Inspire & Encourage. This is a brand I haven’t tried before so I was excited to see how it worked. This is an eyeshadow duo of a matte and a shimmer. The matte is Inspire which is a Rosy Tan. The shimmer is Encourage which is really just the shimmer version of it except it’s got more Copper tones to it. These shades don’t have a lot of fallout, they are really blendable and super buildable. I did make a really cute look with this one that I will include at the bottom. I liked this one and will explore the brand more.
These 2 shades are a part of a palette of all nude shades for $28.
KVD Vegan Beauty Mini Cake Pencil in Trooper Black. I love this brand I rarely ever have an issue with them. I especially love their lines. This was one I haven’t tried since I prefer the liquid ones these days. I do like to have a cake-like liner around for my waterlines and such. I used this one to fill in the spots I missed in my waterline and also was able to apply it and use a brush to smoke it out on my bottom lash line. I really like this one and would buy it again.
They have this mini for $11 and a full size which comes in 2 colors for $20.
Here is a look I created using eyeshadow, highlighter, and eyeliner. I really dig it and it’s one of the most natural looks I’ve done in a while.
I really love this bag it had everything in it that I liked and there were no issues. Honestly, the reviews you do of the products on the ipsy site every month pay off to where you stop getting shit you don’t like.
If you don’t get it and want to give it a try it’s $12 a month..
