Here is my review for the May Ipsy Bag.
This month’s theme is Let Yourself Bloom, which is appropriate since May is when I feel like the flowers start to bloom.
We have the list of what’s in the bag this month.
This bag is an abstract floral pattern which is nice but I don’t really think it fits the theme outside it’s color scheme.
First aid Beauty Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream. I really like this brand but I haven’t tried this product yet. I only have to use a little of this under each eye to get the fully effect. I didn’t really noticed a brighting effected but it did help make my concealer to apply better when I used it. I don’t know if i would buy this one again since I didn’t really see any big changes.
This one is $36 for a 0.5 fl oz jar.
Jazmine Beauty Illuminating Highlighter in Shell Yeah. I haven’t heard of this brand before but I love trying highlighters. This one you have to pick up a lot of the product to make it shine. It’s a little buildable but not as much as I like my highlighter to be. So if you are looking for a light highlight then this is perfect.
This one comes in a Trio Highlighter for $36. There are 2 different kinds of Trios.
Pear Nova Lunar Lip Stylo in Asteroid. I think I have tried this brand before but I can’t remember what it was. This one is a lip liner that applies really easily. The shade however is super light to the point it’s almost the same shade as my lips. I have been using it to line my lips with no issues or conflicts with other products. I would buy this one again just in a darker shade.
The full size is $18.50 and comes in 6 shades.
Dew of the Gods Claydate Healing Face Mask. I haven’t tried anything from this brand but I appreciate a good face mask. This one is easy to apply. I left it on for 20 mins and took it off with a wet washcloth. I didn’t really care for this one. It was easy to use but didn’t really care for it. I am going to use it a few more times and see if maybe it grows on me, but I wouldn’t buy this one again.
a 3.52 oz jar is $42. You can buy them in singles or a 2 pack for $66.
Refreshments Brilliant Body Bar in Citrus Spritz. This is a product from the ipsy brand of refreshments. I was super confused with I got it cause I thought I had accidentally ordered it. This one is a body bar that does have a nice light citrus scent that isn’t overpowering. This one lathers up really nicely. I have used it by itself with just my hands and also with a washcloth with no issues. It does leave me feeling clean. There is a slight residue feeling until I dry off that isn’t completely awful. It doesn’t rebel with my lotions or anything like that. I like it but I don’t know it I could buy it again.

This was a nice bag, I didn’t really have any issues with it. I do need to do my product reviews on the ipsy site again.
