July Ipsy 2023

Hello,

I’m so delayed with everything and some techncially issues. Here is my review of the July Ipsy bag.

This month’s theme is The Great Escape which works since it’s July and everyone is trying to go on vacations.

We got the list of everything that is in the bag.

I feel like this months bag is a cope out on Ipsy part cause this is their refreshments pages. They have another subscription service of shower things that can be included in with your glam bags. So I don’t know if they just had an issues with the actual bags or what, but I panicked when I got this bag thing I got something else. Other than that the bag is nice and I have one already.

Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner. This is the first time I’ve heard of this brand but I’m into trying new skin care things. This one is a liquid that I have been just using with my hands to apply it to my face. The instructions say to use a cotton round which I tried but I get the same effect either way. It does leave my skin feeling hydrated to where I can just use it. I have tried it with other products and nothing has rebelled. I liked this one but I don’t know if I would buy this one again or not.

This one comes in 3 sizes 50ml for $14, 200ml for $39, and a 400ml for $68.

Buy Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner.

Mudmasky Vitamin-A Booster French Clay Mask. I had tried this brand before. This is a one is a clay mask that’s very water down compared to some clay masked I have used. I even shook this one for a few mins just see if that would help. I was able to apply the mask on but it was very thin. I left it on for about 20 or 30 mins. I took it off and had no issues. It didn’t dry me out or anything. I don’t think I would purchase this one since i didn’t like the consistency

This one only comes in a travel size for $15.

Buy the Vitamin-A Booster French Clay Mask.

Mobe beauty Divinely Defined | Precision Brow Pencil & Brush in Auburn. This is a brand I haven’t heard of before. I do like always trying new products, This one is easy to use and I haven’t had any issues using it or it rebelling with other products. I really do like this one.

I can’t find this product or this brand any where but on eBay, which honestly is a little sketchy.

Toy Factory Niablend Serum Concealer in Fair. This is another brand I haven’t heard of. I am always looking for a good concealer so I was happy to try this one. It’s easy to apply with a brush or a blender. It didn’t rebel with any of my other products. This shade was almost to light for me but I as able to make it work. I liked to one but I don’t know if I would buy it again since I did have some wearing off throughout the day.

This one is $30 and comes in 24 shades.

Buy Niablend Scrum Concealer.

Lottie London Eyeshadow Quad in The Rose Golds. I have used this brand before and have gotten various things from them in these bags. This one is a netural eyeshadow quad. I was able to create a simple look using. This one has 4 shade: 2 matte and 2 shimmers.

  1. beige peach nude

  2. light brown shimmer

  3. light gold shimmer

  4. brown matte

I didn’t have an issues while using these and there is little fall out. They are not as buildable as I like my eyeshadows to be but if you are going for more natural look these would be perfect for it. I wouldn’t buy it again since I prefer more colorfuls shades.

These shades on only available in a Rose Gold palette of 9 shades which is currently sold out.

Buy The Rose Gold palette

I did really like this bag and didn’t have a lot of issues out of it.

If you want to sign up for Ipsy it’s currently Monthly $13 (plus tax & $1.99 handling). I think I’m going to pause mine for a while since I'm just not thrilled with anything in general right now.
