June Ipsy 2023

Hello,

Here is my review of this month’s Ipsy bag.

The theme is Ready, Set, Play! Which is a good theme for Summer.

We got a list of the products again this month.

This month is a pink mesh sporty-looking bag with a love zipper. It’s cute and does give off the summer vibe for June. This would be good to put your beauty blender or reusable makeup remover clothes in to dry since it’s breathable.

Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Daily Facial Wash. I have tried this brand before and have not had any issues that I can remember. This one is a gel with some scrubby beads so you can get a nice scrub that isn’t too harsh. It does smell light of citrus and cleanses my face very well. I haven’t had it rebel with any of my other products. I really like this one and would buy it again.

This one comes in. 4 sizes. 3 oz for $15, 8oz for $30, 16oz for $46, and 36 oz for $67. They also have a subscribe and save option for 15% off the prices above.

Buy Exfoliating Daily Facial Wash.

Kinship Self Smooth 10% Glycolic Resurfacing Serum. This item I picked for this month cause it looked like something I would be in. This one is a liquid that is all shiny and full of glitter if you look closely at it. This one applies really easily. I only have to use a little to cover my whole face. I have been using it alone at night without any other products. It does give me a nice little glow and doesn’t leave me overly greasy or anything. I don’t know if I would buy it again cause I had a reaction to something and I’m not completely sure it wasn’t this.

a 2.2 fl oz is $30

Buy Kinship Self Smooth

Wingme Cosmetics 03 Small Shading Brush. This is the first time I’ve heard of this brand but I always appreciate new brushes. This one is perfect if you want to get that wing or undereye shading. It’s soft and holds the product very well. I have been using it a lot and I really like it. I would buy more from this brand.

This one is part of a 4 brush pack. It’s usually $28 but at the time of this post, it’s $19.

Buy Wingme Seamless Eye Essentials Brush Set.

Formula Z Cosmetics Happy Stick Dual-Ended Liner in Sky and Emerald. This is another brand I haven’t heard but I love getting fun eyeliners. This is a dual-ended liner: one side is Sky which is a tardis blue with baby blue and silver glitter in it. The other side is Emerald, which is a silvery green shimmer with little silver glitter in it. The glitter in the liner isn’t anything excessive that will cause issues It’s just enough to make it pop when you put it on. I have used this one with several eyeshadow palettes and other products with no issues. I really like this one and would buy from them again.

These are $23 and come in 4 variations.

Buy Formula Z Happystick Liner Duo.

The Balm Cosmetics Anne T. Dotes Liquid Concealer in #8. I have tried several things from this brand over the years and they have been hit and miss. This one is a concealer that is a little dark for my liking but it does work well since it’s a peachy color to function as a color corrector. I didn’t have any issues with this one rebelling under any of my other productions but I don’t know if I would buy it again.

This one is $14.50 and comes in 26 shades.

Buy The Balm Anne T. Dores Clean Concealer.

I really liked this bag, there wasn’t anything I just hated. I do need to do the review on the Ipsy site before my next bag and update my preferences.

If you want to sign up for Ipsy it’s currently Monthly $13 (plus tax & $1.99 handling). I think I’m going to pause mine for a while since I'm just not thrilled with anything in general right now.
