List of Things that help Gastritis.
So a couple of months ago I wrote about being sick on and off for the past few months.
I have a combination of 2 things the first being Gastritis which is an inflammation, irritation, or erosion of the lining of the stomach. The second being Esophagitis which is an inflammation of the lining of the esophagus, the tube that carries food from the throat to the stomach.
It's something I have still be dealing with and it's actually gotten worse recently. It was coming and going to the point I would be fine for weeks then boom sick again. Since basically Christmas I have been sick every day. Seriously I could eat crackers or I could get nothing, and still have heartburn and be in pain. The medicine the ER doctor gave me stopped fully working so I have been trying different over the counter things recently to try and help keep it under control.
I thought why not review the random shit that's holding me together. Hell, someone reading this could be experiencing the same stuff I am and will have some options to try. Plus going to the doctor and even worst the ER is just costly. I have a $1000 ER bill as proof of that.

Equate Omeprazole Acid Reducer this is just the off brand of a version of the name brand. Honestly, I can't tell a different and you get more pills at half the price. My doctor actually prescribed me the name brand that cost me close to $50 at my pharmacy. After I mention that he told me to take these and if one doesn't work to take 2. These 3 pack works so I can get a bottle next to the bed for when I wake up, one in my purse to have just in case, and on my desk also just in case. These have been a lifesaver to help keep heartburn under control for an extended time. These come in 3 different types. I like these cause they are this mint flavor which is just lovely going down.
These are $14.97 for a 3 bottle pack, a total of 42 tablets. The name brand is double for like $15 pills.
TUMS Antacid, Chewy Delights I got these cause they were chewy and I had tried them before years ago. These are individually wrapped up to look like bubble gum. If you want something super soft or that melts away fast without the chalk taste these are perfect. My favorite thing about these is that they come wrapped so you can bite off half of it and save the rest. This is perfect since they advise to only take 6 in a 24 hr period it can help extend it. I like these but I feel they didn't really help fully like I wanted them too.

Equate Antacid + Anti- Gas Chews. I'm really into these Chews right now. I don't know if it's because I used the normal chalk ones for so long that they turn my stomach or what. These are great they aren't too much flavor that it makes things worst. My biggest problem is that gas builds up and causes pressure in my chest. This help lessens it and makes it possible to carry on. These are probably my favorite since they work better than the other chewy ones on this list.

TUMS Chewy Bites these are the same as the ones above they have a little more flavor to them but not too much. They help a decent amount but I feel like I have to eat like 3 of them to feel them working. You are only supposed to take 6 of them in a 24 hour period so I probably won't buy them again cause of that.

Well, when I first started having the pains I thought it was just that time of the month. Which mine is terrible, I get sick and have terrible back pain. Therefore I always have this stuff on hand since it's literally the only thing that knocks out my pain from cramps. Trust me I was surprised too. I went years taking a muscle relaxer until I just ran out one day and happen upon these. When it started flaring up bad this was all I really had so I took them and it helped. These aren't just for period pains and have been a life saver for me.

Also, I lied earlier I didn't get everything from Walmart. I got this last one from CVS cause it was next to the grocery. However, I am sure they have these there or a brand of these.
