Haus Laboratories Glam Room NO. 1: Fame
Hello,
Here is another one that I have just been sitting on. I got this palette around the time it first came out and have just not reviewed it. Actually, I got a couple of other items along with this one that I’m going to review in the next few post.
Since I am going to do a couple of these together I wanted to include the package your order comes in. When you open the box this is on the part where you lift up the flap. Which honestly it perfect that it’s the first thing you see. It’s a sweet and important message.
Here is the package which is the stunning black to sliver ombre effect. It’s simple but effective.
Here is the palette it’s self. It’s designed like it has a flat pyramid on the top of it and the black matte works really well for palette.
Here is the back of the palette that has the name of the shades.
The palette does have a mirror on the lid which I love. The Palette contains 10 shades which consist of 4 mattes and 6 shimmers.
Here are the Swatches on my Pale arm. Remember they may read differently on you than they do me.
Now let’s break down these shades.
Cake- Beige Matte. It’s literally the color of my skin.
Applause- light gold shimmer with pink undertones
Curtain Call- Rosey Red shimmer
Contort- Chocolate Brown Matte
Scotch- Dark Chocolate Matte with pink and gold glitter
Spotlight-White Shimmer
Cameo- Tan Matte
Shimmy- Dusty Pink Shimmer with Purple undertones
Slipper Room- Deep Purple Shimmer with Pink Glitter
Top Hat- Black Matte.
The shades in this palette are all very buildable and easy to blend. I haven’t had issues with a whole lot of fall out and I have been able to use them with another palette with no issues. I really like this one and have been able to create a couple of looks with it.
Here is a look I created with the palette. I have done several since I’ve had it but for some reason can’t find any of them. You can do something simple or more extreme with it.
This one is $34.
