May Birch Box 2021

So since my Ipsy bag has been super late the past 2 months I looked into another subscription and decided to give this one a try since I’ve heard good things about it.
This box came into a cardboard shipping box. It’s really cute and looks like spring.

Balance Me BHA Exfoliating Concentrate. This was the last one I tried cause I had a lot of things and places to be this past weekend. I didn’t have time for something to break my skin out so. This one smells like something plant-based. I put some of this liquid on an Eco round and then apply it to my face. The instruction says just to let it dry. So I applied it this morning and let it dry it didn’t really dry out my face except around the eyes. I applied some eye cream for that and it didn’t interact with it. A couple of hours later I applied my moisturizer. I don’t really see any difference and I’ve used it a couple of days like a toner. I don’t think I would buy this one again since it’s not really done anything.
This one is $36.80 for a 180ml bottle.
ModelCo More Brows Fibre Gel- Light/Medium. I believe I have tried something from Model Co in an Ipsy bag but I’m not sure. This is a tinted Brow Gel that I always like to have around. Since I’m a natural blonde I need something to help make them visible and Brow Gel is perfect for that. This one is almost a little too dark for me but I was able to brush it out to lighten it up. It goes on with ease and didn’t give me any issues or clumping. I liked it and would use it again.
This one is $26 and comes in 2 shades that are both on the dark side.
Schwarzkopf Keratin Restore Bonding Shampoo. I have never tried anything from this haircare brand at all. I’m not sure why. This one was really silky to apply to wet hair and lathered up really well. I did have to use a fair amount since my hair is so long right now. I got it all lathered up, left it in for a min then rinsed my hair and it didn’t leave it with a weird feeling or anything. I did have a wet silky feeling to it which I liked. I did use it with the bonding mask below for the full effect. I really liked this one.

Schwarzkopf Keratin Restore Bonding Mask. This one is super creamy and easy to apply the mask. I had to use a fair amount to cover my long hair. I left it on for 5 mins and then rinsed it out. I let my hair air dry as I usually do. This one left my hair super soft and luscious for days. Also, it smells incredible. I really dig this one as well and would buy it again.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Mitt and Self Tanning Foam-Dark. When I first pulled this one out of the box I questioned it cause it’s Dark. I’m super fucking pale. I tried this only a little on my stomach where if it went badly no one would see it. I put it on with the mitt and instantly it was so dark. I mean like 15 shades too dark. I didn’t use any more of it cause of that. It smells really good and easy to apply it’s just not my shade.
The full size of the tanning foam is a 7.04 fl Oz can for $24 and a 3.3 fl oz can for $26. The Mitt is $6.
This was the first time I’ve gotten one of these and I’m honestly not really impressed, but that’s expected right off the back. I have another one coming for this month so we will see how that one goes. Honestly, I may just cancel it.
