Short Break to Riot

Hello!

I had some posts I’ve been working on but I’ve not really finished them I was going to sit and rush some stuff out and decided not to.

I’ve been in a hole lately that I’m just getting out of. I think a lot of it is because my Aunt died about a month ago. She was my mom’s best friend. Honestly, I was more like her than my mom and her daughter were more like my mom than me. So it hit me hard and still doesn’t seem real. The only upset is that She and my Mom are back together which is what she wanted. She has been ready to go for a while.

That and I started that new job and it’s been overwhelming. Today was the 1st day I didn’t just sit at work and cry while singing the chorus to “Josie” by blink-182.

This week I’m traveling to Chicago for the 1st time ever to attend Riot Fest and I’m so fucking Stoked. I need to get away and just live in the moment for a couple of days. Also, I’m going alone which is going to be a big first for me. I am meeting some people there so I won’t be completely alone.

So There will not be any posts this week. I should be back next Tuesday or Thursday.
