Sept Ipsy 2021

Hello!

It’s been a busy month for me. I was out of town when the bag came and then got sick when I got home. I am almost over my cold and have finally been able to sit down and work on things.

As of right now tho let’s get this review of my September Ipsy out of the way. It’s still the only subscription I am currently getting since I have found anything else I want to try yet.

This month’s theme is Back to Work. School. Life. Which is perfect since September is usually the month school starts back and vacations are over.

I really like the bag since it’s houndtooth and reminds me of Clueless.

M2U NYC Eye Primer. I have never heard of this brand before but I do appreciate a good eye primer. It’s easy to apply and blend in. It has a little sticky texture to it. I really liked it and it did hold my product in place without any issues. I like this one and would buy it again.

This one comes in1 shade and is $8.

The Balm Cosmetics Bronzilla. I really love The Balm and have tried a bunch of random things from them. Most of them I’ve gotten from Ipsy bags actually. This is a bronzer that is super pigmented. I had to try and pick up a little at a time to apply what was needed. I still had to go back in with my foundation and lightening it up. I really like this one and would buy it again.

This one is $20

Shades by Shan Highlighter Single in Irma. This is a brand I’ve never heard of before. I love highlighters tho so I was excited about it. This one is creamy and applies with ease. I was able to pick up just a little of it and still get the full shine. Also, it’s buildable if you want to add some extra. This is a light gold that works well for my skin tone. I like this one and would buy it again.

This one comes in a 4 shade palette for $34.

Tatcha The Rice Wash Cleanser. I really love this brand. I’ve tried a couple of their face washes and creams and just fell in love. This one is a thick gel with little scrubbers in it. I only have to use a pea-size amount and some water to apply it to my face. I have used my hands and my PMD Beauty brush to massage it in for a couple of minutes. My face is always squeezy clean but left hydrated after I wash it away and dry it. I really like this one and would buy it again.

This cleanser comes in 2 sizes. A Full Size 4 fl oz for $35 and a Travel Size 1.7 fl oz for $16.

BRTC Vitamin B5 Velvet Mask & Vitamin A Velvet Mask. Another brand I’ve not heard of. This mask took forever to unfold it was so wet. It was easy to apply and didn’t sit weird on my face or anything. I left it on for 15 mins and it had a cooling effect that was nice. I took it off and massage what I could of the product in, then let the rest soak in. I liked it but it didn’t really do anything different than any other mask.

I can’t find either of these masks on a nonsketchy website. Which makes me not what to even bother with them. I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t care about it enough to buy them again.

I like this bag. I feel like I was underwhelmed by it but I think it’s just cause I’m still trying to get the congestion out of my head.

These bags are like $13 a month. If you are interested there is a link below.
