Jan 2022 Ipsy Glam Bag
Hello,
How the hell are we already through January. Anyways here is the review of the Ipsy bag for that month.
This month’s theme is Happy Vibes, which I think is how we are suppose to start the new year. You know all happy and excited for new beginnings.
The bag is the lovely tye dye pastel, which is really pretty and invokes happy vibes.
We have the list of items in the bag which you know I always appreciate.
IBY Beauty Maldives Highlighter in the Maldives. I have a bunch of items from this brand several times over the past couple of years. I’ve really liked a lot of them. This one is a super creamy highlighter that packs a lot of shine. It’s buildable and blendable. This shade is Maldives is a light golden tan, that is the right shade to work on my pale skin. I have used this one in my normal highlight spots and also as an eyeshadow to create a simple natural look. I really like this one and would buy it again.
These are $8 and come in 6 different shades.
Shades by Shan Bronzer in Latte. I have tried this brand several times in these bags. I have a highlighter of theirs that I’ve been using with everything. This is the first Bronzer. This one is in a light tan that works well on my skin so it’s not overly dark. This one applies really well, is buildable, and blendabled. I really like this one and have used it as a bronzer and eyeshadow. I would buy this one again.
This one comes in 3 Shades for $17.50.
Tatcha The Deep Cleanse. This was my pick for this month’s bag. It’s one of my favorite cleansers so anytime I can get a sample for it I jump on it. This one is a medium-thick gel that has some scrubber textures to give you a light scrub without being to harsh. I use a pea size amount of this with some water and sud it up in my hands then apply it to my face. I massage it in for a couple mins then rinse it off. It does leave my face hydrated and cleansed. I really love this one and will be buying it again.
This one comes in 3 sizes: 10 oz Grantitude Size for $62, 5 oz Full Size for $39, and 1.7 oz Travel size for $16.
Polaar Polar Night Revitalizing Elixir. This brand I’ve never come across before. It’s a oil that I only have to us a few drops of in my hands to warm up, then pat into my face. This one smells slightly fruity and warms up instantly. It soaks into my skin fast and leaves it hydrated and soft. I have used this alone and with my moisturizer with no rebelling. I really like this one and would buy it again.
This one is $46.60 for a 15 ml tube.
The Saem Bio Solution Hydrating Hylauronic Acid & Radiance Multi-Vitamin Mask Duo. I did the Hyaluronic Acid Mask in this one since most masks from the same company or brand typically work the same way. That is just from my experience. This one was easy to apply and stayed on my face pretty well. There was no slipping off or anything awkward about it. I left this one on for 10 mins. It did make my face feel super cold by the end of it. I took it off and massage the rest into my face then left it to soak in.
There are 5 different types of these makes for specific reasons and they are $3.74 apiece.
I really liked this bag. I need to go do my product reviews on the Ipsy site since I keep forgetting.
If you don’t get Ipsy and want to there is a link below. It’s about $13 a month.
