Ipsy September 2022
Hello.
I’m a little late since I’m just getting over the Covid fatigue. So here’s my review for the September Ipsy bag.
I really appreciate the theme of You Got This. Especially since it’s September and I feel like everyone’s drained at this point so it’s a nice little reminder.
They gave us another month of tips or whatever these are.
I really like this bag it’s really cute. I love the pearly rainbow color to it.
HEMPZ Sweet Pineapple & Honey Melon Herbal Body Butter. I’m a big fan of this brand. Getting this in this bag reminded me that I had bought any in a while. I really love this brand. The scents are always incredible. The formula of their products is very creamy and smooth. It doesn’t dry my skin out and it never gives me a rash or anything crazy. I really enjoyed this one and would repurchase it.
An 8oz Jar is $14.95
FLIRTACIOUS LOOKS COSMETICS Quick Beat Beauty Sponge. This was a brand I haven’t heard of before. I was excited to get a beauty blender. I’ve never gotten a blender in one of these bags before. I’ve also not used a blender in forever since I’ve been using brushes. This blender was easy to use, just had to wet it. I was surprised it didn’t really soak up a lot of product and was easy to blend it wasn’t super hard like some blenders are. I was able to use this with color correct or concealer with no issues. I was also able to use it with some setting powders, which is always a plus for me. Some setting powders are weird with wet blenders. I really like this one and would repurchase it. Also gonna look into the brand more.
This Blender is $14.99
CIATÉ LONDON Extraordinary Translucent Powder. I do really love this brand. It’s one that I’ve tried all kinds of products for with little to no issue. This one is a translucent powder, that’s very creamy and very smooth. I was able to apply it with my normal puff and with a blender. This one didn’t give me enough coverage that I like in a setting powder. It didn’t rebel with any other products used or give me any other issues. I don’t know if I would buy it again though since I’ve got setting powders that do work better for me.
A Jar of this is $22.00
SERAPHINE BOTANICALS Long-Lasting Creamy Lip Stain in Cassis + Cream. I’ve tried several things from this brand and have not had any issues. This one is a super creamy lip stain, that applies easily and I can wear it for hours without it drying out my lips. I’m able to outline my lips and use other products without them rebelling. The color is dark pinkish red that I dig and it works with my skin tone. I would buy one of these again
This one is $24 and comes in 2 shades.
PEAR NOVA Classic Lacquer in Mood Bloom. I have not tried anything from this brand before. I do love nail polish. This one is a nude that is just a shade darker than my actual skin tone. I really liked it for some reason I don’t know if it’s just cause I was sick and my brain was playing tricks on me, but it’s actually was really into it. The formula works really nicely. I only had to apply two coats and it really didn’t chip that much. I will be checking out this brand again because they do have all kinds of different shades.
This Lacquer is $13.50 and comes in 35.
I really like this bag. I didn’t get anything that I absolutely hated and some of the things were pleasantly surprising. I do need to get back to doing my reviews on Ipsy‘s website because I feel like that might have been why I got the nail polish color.
If you wanna get an Ipsy bag they are currently $13 plus $1.99 shipping per month as always there’s a link below.
